Today is our 4th wedding anniversary….I’m not feeling very contemplative this morning….so I’ll just put up a picture & say that we’re having a great time being married…. so much to learn about ourselves and how to love. It’s great!

I think that if your in the market for a hot tub this might be the way to go.
I think that the design philosophy behind this kind of stuff is great, but hard to do well. Break everything down to its most essential parts, then make it work really well, and look great while doing it (eggbeaters are another example). It’s kind of hard to see in the pictures but you can cook with a wok on top of the coil, or convert it to a grill.
I walked out the front door to a wonderful surprise this morning. I only got about 8 steps out the door before I was turning right around to go back inside, thinking to myself, “I’m going to need a much bigger sweater today!” The temperature outside is a perfectly fall-like 58 degrees!
And I love it.
Welcome, Fall…..it has been too long since we’ve seen each other.
Break out the sweaters and fleece and pumpkin spice candles and get ready to watch the leaves change!
**(it will probably be 80 degrees and humid again tomorrow, but just let me have this moment, ok?)
Climbing Elbert was a lot of fun. It was the first time i had been up to 14000 ft. on my own power (as in, not driving a car to the top…). At the top we got to talk to some other people who were up there. One kid had lived in Leadville for four years and had never been climbed the mountain before. I actually really liked Leadville, and i think that a big part of why is because it is a real town. It has its little tourist things, but there is other industry, and people with real lives that are not centered around creating a tourist destination. I think that it probably would be interesting to live there and see how those two cultures interact and relate to each other…
any way, back to the top of Elbert, our new friend who was from Leadville was kind of a skater guy, he had on jeans and skate shoes, he looked kind of out of place. Of course the pistol that he had in a holster on his belt didn’t really fit. Lighting up his bong and taking a few puffs was probably a very Colorado thing to do…

photo credit goes to luke…except for the one of him…
